Distinguished International Lecturers in Geography

The Department of Geography, School of Natural Sciences, TCD, is hosting a series of public lectures by distinguished academics from around the world.
The next public lecture will be given by Professor Ron Martin (University of Cambridge) on ‘Shocking Aspects of Regional Development: The Economic Geography of Resilience’.

Prof Martin is an internationally renowned economic geographer. He is a Professor of Economic Geography in the Department of Geography, University of Cambridge, and a Professorial Fellow at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, UK. He is also chairing a Research Committee of the Regional Studies Association and is a member of the UK Government ‘Future of Cities’ lead expert group. His visit to Trinity is supported by the College’s Visiting Professorship & Fellowship Benefaction Fund.
All welcome and admission is free, but registration is essential for catering purposes.
